What to bring
- What you've noticed, and roughly when it started
- How it affects your work, sleep and relationships
Questions you could ask
- Could my symptoms be linked to perimenopause?
- What are my options, and the pros and cons of each?
NICE guidance says that if you're over 45, a GP can usually recognise perimenopause from your symptoms and changes to your periods, without a blood test.
