Information, not medical advice
Everything on thisway.health, including the guides and the free questionnaire, is general information. It isn't medical, legal or financial advice, and it can't tell you what's causing your symptoms or what's right for you. The free questionnaire isn't a test.
Always talk to a GP, midwife, health visitor, pharmacist, prescriber or other qualified professional about your own situation, and don't delay getting help because of something you've read here. In an emergency, call 999. For urgent medical help, call NHS 111 (in Northern Ireland, your GP surgery or the GP out of hours service).
We base everything on published research and official UK guidance, show our sources and the date we last checked them, and follow our editorial and evidence policy. But guidance, services, prices and entitlements change, and they differ between England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Please check anything important with the organisation concerned.
Using our content
The words, design, graphics, logos and software on this website belong to OCCO Wellbeing Ltd or the people who license them to us. "ThisWay" and our logos are our brand.
You're welcome to:

- share links to any page
- quote short extracts, with a credit to ThisWay and a link to the page.
Please don't:
- copy or republish whole pages or guides, or use them commercially, without our written permission
- use automated tools to copy the website, or use its content to train or feed AI models
- try to get past the password screen, probe for weaknesses, or disrupt the website
- use our name or logos in a way that suggests we endorse you.
Some photos are used under their own licences, listed on our policies page.
Links
We link to other websites, such as the NHS, NICE and GOV.UK, so you can check our sources and get help. We don't control those websites and aren't responsible for them. We never accept payment for links.
Availability
We try to keep the website available and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or remove pages at any time.
Our responsibility to you
We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Changes and the law
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
